About PORTUDE

PORTUDE by Argowells Group is a proposed independent crude oil receiving, storage and international lifting platform in the Sines area of Portugal, subject to feasibility, agreements and regulatory approvals.

An infrastructure service proposition

Nigerian crude oil producers would ship crude to Portugal under agreed export and transportation arrangements. PORTUDE proposes receiving coordination, independent storage and inventory management, followed by collection by Nominated Lifters against verified authorization from the contractually entitled party.

International Buyers and Nominated Lifters

An International Buyer is the party purchasing or otherwise contractually entitled to the crude oil. A Nominated Lifter is the party or vessel nominated under the applicable contracts to collect the authorized crude cargo. An International Buyer and a Nominated Lifter may be different parties. Nomination or operation of a vessel does not, by itself, establish ownership of the crude or independent authority to transfer title or authorize cargo release. Eligibility, entitlement, nomination and release authority would be checked separately under the applicable contracts.

What PORTUDE is, and is not

PORTUDE is not primarily a crude purchaser, trader or refinery. Its proposed model is based on agreed infrastructure and inventory services. The model does not assume that PORTUDE purchases or takes legal title to the crude. Title, physical custody, operational responsibility and release authority would each be defined by future contracts.

Corporate identity and development

PORTUDE is presented under the Argowells Group attribution. The operating legal entity, registered address and governance structure remain subject to confirmation. No terminal ownership, secured port concession, operating storage facility or signed prospective partnership is claimed.

Concept proposal only. Subject to feasibility, commercial agreements and regulatory approvals. No operating facilities, secured concessions or signed partnerships are represented.
